The PayWindow Interface:
You must have 1099Express installed for 1099 Forms, and W2Express installed for the W2 Forms.
Click here to install 1099 or W-2 Express, if you have not already done so.
To Print W-2 or 1099 Forms.
- Get to the Report Center window shown below.
- Click the 1st Tab for W2 / W3 Forms -- or -- Click the 2nd TAB for 1099-Misc Forms
- Click the W2Express radio button (red arrow below). -- or -- 1099Express button.
- Click the Print Now button.
The Print Now button will open a simple Dialog as shown below.
As you can see, we show you where the file was saved and give you an option
to open the folder where the file was saved or to launch the saved file into W2 Express.
If you have W2Express installed, clicking the Launch button (recommended) will open that
program and load your data ready to use.

Once W2 Express is opened, you can edit the W2 Forms, print them on plain
paper and even create the file to submit the W2 Forms on line to the government..

W-2 Express will CREATE ALL FORMS on blank paper using a laser printer,
including copy A, B, C, D, 2, 1 etc. You can mail Copy A created on blank paper
(W-2 and W-3) directly to the Social Security administration. For more

forms with W-2 Express. Of course, you should also mail laser created forms
to the employees by January 31.
1099 Express will create all forms on blank paper EXCEPT Copy A for the
IRS. You must print-on Copy A (1099 and 1096) using the pre-manufactured,
scanner ready, red-lined forms. You must order these forms and put them in your
printer. 1099 Express will print-on those pre-manufactured forms. You can get
pre-manufactured forms FREE from the IRS web site if you click this link:
Online Ordering for Information Returns and Employer Returns These have
other copies you will not need, just use Copy A. You can also get
pre-manufactured Copy A and 1096 froms from Office Depot, or at any IRS Office.
Both programs will allow you to e-File Copy A and the Transmittals (W3 and 1096)
to the IRS or SSA. You can e-File to the IRS or SSA even if you have 1, 2 or 3
forms. However, you MUST e-File to the Federal government, if you have
250 forms or more. Some states require that you e-File W-2 and 1099 Forms if you
have 10 or more forms. Both programs have detailed instructions showing you how
to e-File to the IRS and SSA. Most states accept the IRS and SSA text formats
created by 1099 and W-2 Express software.
