Deadlines
  • March 15th: Deadline for 1042-S copies to recipients, paper or internet filing to IRS.

  • End of March: Too late, must file 1042-S by March 15th.

  • If any due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, the return or statement is considered timely if filed or furnished on the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday.

  • Statements to recipients must be postmarked on or before March 15.
