Update log of 2014
- The File Menu contains a new sub-menu "Open Pre-2014 T42 file". This feature CONVERTS a past year file to the most updated format.
Thus it is possible to open a past year .T42 "source" file. - It is then possible to use the File Menu to "Export the Grid to Excel".
- This allows you to modify the Excel spreadsheet, for example Boxes 4a and 4b, then re-Import from Excel by Copy and Paste From Excel by Header Name, and
REPLACE the data in the 1042-S grid. - All status codes and tax rates may now be imported from Excel the easy way. All codes and tax rates may be entered as single digit. And
fractional tax rates may be entered as simple numbers such as 4.9 This applies to the following boxes: - Box3a, Box3b, Box4a, Box4b
- Box12b, Box12h, Box15b
