▬ Entering a Payee/Recipient ▬



Click the 'ADD F3' tab on the top left of the program or press the 'F3" key on the Keyboard.

Fill out the pop-up data entry screen that appears, then click 'OK', or press 'ALT' and 'O'.

To change feilds, press 'Enter', 'Tab' key, or use the mouse.

To go back a field, press 'Shift' and 'Tab'.



'TINs' should be entered as follows:
Social Security Numbers (for individuals) should have 2 dashes.
Example: 123-12-1234

Employer ID Numbers (which include companies, corperations, individuals and others) should have 1 dash.
Example: 987654321



Double click the recipient's name in the 1099 Express grid, or double click the name of the recipient's name.

A small window will appear with their informaiton. CLick any of the boxes in the form to make necessary changes.

Once changes have been made, click the 'OK' button on the bottom of the Form Window.



Delete a record by 'Voiding' it with the 'Edit' tab on the top left of the program. Please note that the record will remain visible for audit purposes.

Remarked or Voided records are never printed or sent to the IRS.

To completley remove a record from a file, highlight the recipients record in the grid, go to the 'ADD F3' tab on the top left of the program and select the 'Delete' option from the drop-down list.

Alternatively, the user can select the 'Edit' tab and select 'Cut' to delete and copy to the WIndows Cilpboard.



To enter a foreign address, click the 'Foreign Address' check box at the bottom left of the data entry screen.

Use the 'City' box for the foreign city, province and country.
Do not use the state box.

Use the 'zip' box for the foreign zip code, if any.
